Citrus Ginger Tea

- 4 cups Water
- 1/4 cup ginger grated
- 2 ea Mayer Lemons Washed, sliced wafer thin
- 3 ea Black Tea bags Good quaility stuff
- Honey to taste
- Bourbon to taste, Good, but not great stuff here.
add water, ginger, tea bags, and lemons to small saucepan
Bring to a boil, and reduce to a simmer
Simmer 3-5 minutes, depending on taste
Strain into cups
Add honey / bourbon to taste
Optionals
- A stick of cinnamon
- Sprigs of mint
Add to cups and strain tea into them
Once can also brew classic tea and add ginger slices to the pot.
